  Valentine’s Day is a holiday when lovers express their affection with greetings and gifts. It is also called St. Valentine’s Day and celebrated annually on February 14. The holiday has expanded to express affection between relatives and friends. This day is not only for lovers, but for all those whom we love. Of course, Valentine's Day is not the only day to share our love. Rather, it is yet another opportunity to let those whom we love know how much we love and appreciate them. My experience during Valentine's Day this year in 2023 is fun; it is not boring because I'm with my classmates and family. At school, seeing people younger than me receive flowers doesn't bother me; on the other hand, the people I hang around with are feeling bitter the whole day. I may not have a Valentine's date, but I have my family and friends to give me love and comfort during that day. Ilocos Sur is a beautiful province located in the northern part of Luzon. It is a province rich in culture that represents the ancient Spanish and Filipino heritage. To show and share their treasures to the whole world, the locals conceived a festival that highlights these cultural traditions and they called it the “Kannadiwan Festival”. A festival in the Province of Ilocos Sur commemorating the separation of the two Ilocos provinces in 1818. This festival is a showcase of indigenous performances, religious rituals, as well cooking demos featuring the best of Ilocano dishes. Vigan is said to be a fifth-class city in the province of Ilocos Sur in the Philippines.
