The Hidden Talents of the Teachers
The Vigan City Fiesta is held every January 25. It is celebrated on the feast day of the conversion of St. Paul the Apostle. St. Paul is Vigan City’s patron saint. Before his conversion, St. Paul was known as Saul, a zealous persecutor of Christians. After he was touched by a personal encounter with Jesus Christ on his way to Damascus, his name was changed to Paul, and he endured a lot of hardships and danger to spread the word of God to far places.
These photos were taken during Education Night
on January 21, 2023. This event was attended by different educators from
elementary, junior high, and senior high schools under SDO Vigan City. Many
teachers participated in the said event; some showcased their singing and
dancing skills. Ilocos Sur National High School bagged 2nd place
in their performance. The teachers’ performances were mesmerizing and fun to
watch. The audience was amazed at their props, makeup, and singing and dancing
skills because they practiced and prepared them in a limited amount of time,
yet they performed amazingly.
With these, I have realized that most of the
teachers of the different institutions have hidden talents, and this is a good
example for us students that giving your best in whatever you do always pay
off.
